Mostly amusing, funny things from the past, taped in the 80s and early 90s, mostly, but some are noteworthy and disastrous. The disasters I have recorded are only presented as noteworthy, and are not funny to me, despite my UA-cam name. This channel has grown over the years.
Kellogg's Poptarts Comedy at the Improv (1992)
Hosted by PopTart eater Paula Poundstone, this comedy special taped at the Improv in 1992 was made available by mailing in PopTarts box-tops to Kellogg's!
My grown kids constantly make quotes referencing these comedians, especially Poundstone. I had to preserve this brilliant tape by digitizing it for the rest of the world.

A production from 1999. The stage version of "Big" (starring Tom Hanks on film). This digitized VHS tape has a friend of mine in it, the late Maureen Moore, so I offer it here to keep her talents alive. She is the boy's mother in the beginning scenes. Always loved Louie. He was such a positive breath of fresh air. I miss the days of clean comedians. It takes real talent to make people laugh without shocking them.

1988, Charles Fleischer was on the movie promo circuit promoting Roger Rabbit. At the time, mixing animation and film was a much more difficult process, so this was a big deal. Plus, the cartoon had 'adult themes.'

I heard about this guy on the Joe Rogan Adam Sandler pod, and this is by far the least funny thing I have ever watched

Met Charles at the Whole Foods tonight in Sherman Oaks. The man was incredibly friendly and engaging, not to mention funny. The whole exchange only lasted for a minute, but my girlfriend and I will never forget it. Such a cool guy.
Possibly the worst standup I have seen. It seems he is trying emulate Steve Martin.

Dang, he was funny. There were a few performers I tried not to miss when they were on Carson or Letterman and he was one of them. Jake Johannsen, Brian Regan, Norm, and Dennis Wolfberg to name a few more. Man, that was all too long ago. Thanks for the laughs and RIP.
